The one where you fall for Robert Pattinson

Don't hate, dear "Twilight" fans: I never really got the whole Robert Pattinson thing.

But! I do get it now, thanks to this trailer for "Water for Elephants," which also stars Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, Hal Holbrook and Paul Schneider (who happens to be very underrated, in my opinion).

The film is in theaters April 15. Until then, watch the below trailer repeatedly. And if you feel so moved, leave your thoughts in the comments.

I read the book, and it was really good. This might just be worth seeing.

This looks pretty respectable for him, a movie to get his (serious) film career started in the mainstream. Christoph Waltz and Hal Holbrook will probably prop him up a bit with their performances.

Terrific book - and a decent cast. Potential to be a great movie.

Loved the book Water For Elephants and love Robert Pattinson and the other actors cast in this movie. I am really looking forward to this movie.

I loved the book and I love Robert Pattinson.  The rest of the cast looks great too.  Hal Holbrook will be perfect in the role of the older Jacob.  Can't wait to see this movie!

Loved the book & was very disappointed that Pattison was to play Jacob. Waltz, Holbrook & Witherspoon are always terrific. I've never seen anything appealing about Pattison, or any indication of talent, but maybe in good company he can step up. Looks like they trimmed, or at least groomed, the weird eyebrows which add to his creep-factor.

TEAM EDWARD!!!  But where does he bite the elephant?

                Oh, and what's a book?

My favorite book of all time! Robert will be wonderful. Can't wait for the movie.

Sorry, but from the trailer it looks like Titanic at the circus

That was what first came to my mind as well!

As an adult Twilight fan I am more than happy to see Robert Pattinson in a great movie such as this...I always thought he would be a big star...he is a cutie, and this movie will prove that he can act, too!!

Sorry but being a vampire movie fan for years, the Twilight saga is like a chick flick (for pu$$ies). He cannot act, he has no talent and the movie biz would no doubt  be better off without him. IMHO

Deacon.. funny post, but accurate, too.. Hopefully, with a good story, script and director, plus Witherspoon, Waltz and Holbrook to push him along we'll see what all the tweeners are drooling about...

Robert Pattinson was just white and pasty looking in a mediocre script in Twilight. The part in Water for Elephants is star quality material, I bet he will have many more fans after this film!

I'm not too familiar with the Pattinson guy, but this trailer looks like it's going to be a unique and great movie.

I LOVE this book, and I'm really excited to see the movie. It's a great cast, and I think Rob will shine when paired with a great story and a strong cast. Now here's hoping they don't screw the screenplay! :)

Well...can't say that movie trailer did anything for me. And isn't Reese a little older than him? I mean, it seems like she played his Mom in "Vanity Fair" - though that part was cut (what a bummer). As for Rob, he was Hotter in Potter than Twilight. Yeah, he can probably act, I saw the "Remember Me" movie and it was pretty good. But isn't his costar from "Inglorious Basterds?" If so, Rob doesn't have a prayer!

OMG... I am in LOVE all over again... geeeeez! Robert Pattinson is the most beautiful man I've ever seen.

Not a fan of Pattinson, but totally agree with Deacon's post. That was my first thought while watching this preview...Titanic at the circus.

Reese looks amazing, but this moving looks boring. Plus most animals are poorly treated at the circus, so I wouldn't want to support this anyway.

Sorry, but that's like saying you wouldn't watch Schindler's List because you don't want to support the Holocaust.

Not a BIG fan of the Twilight series, the movies are fun to watch but I have see Pattinson in 2 other films in which he has done very well. I am looking forward to seeing him in this film.

You can tell chick-lit from regular books by how the comments read. Girls say "I Loved It!!!" Guys don't use personal pronouns, they just rate the book.

This book isn't typical chick lit. It's a love story, but more fascinating, it's a story about the circus. And it's all from a man's point of view, so it's not a sappy love story.

This looks like a great movie. It's too bad that Rob Pattinson gets bashed so much for the Twilight movies. Hopefully people will give him a chance because this looks good.

Ummmmm....not impressed. Looks like it may be a good movie, but really I don't think Pattinson can act his way out of a wet paper bag. This trailer does nothing to prove that he's capable of holding his own in a movie with so many great actors--he barely talks in the clip. I think I'll read the book and if I'm still interested in seeing the movie, I'll Netflix or Redbox it.
