Subscribe to RSSAfter Justin Timberlake nudged Mila Kunis into accepting a Marine's invitation to be his date for the Marine Corps Ball, another Marine had a similar idea: put Justin Timberlake on the spot, too.
Cpl. Kelsey De Santis, currently serving as the only female at the Martial Arts Center for Excellence at Marine Corps Base Quantico, has made a YouTube video inviting Timberlake to be her date for the Ball, taking place Nov. 12 in Washington, D.C.
After coaxing Kunis into accepting, it's hard to imagine a scenario where Timberlake could decline this offer. C'mon, J.T.!

Don't hate her too bad. The MCB that she asked Justin to is in Washington DC on a different day than the one that Mila was invited to in Greenville NC.

Have you ever been to war? By your ignorant comments I would say that's a no. In my seven deployments I've seen nothing but bravery and valor from the USMC. I'm USAF and one of the lucky few who fly but I can tell you none of it's easy. Trying to fall asleep to the sound of mortars isn't easy, fear of one's base being overrun isn't easy and that's nothing compared to what they go through. Nobody has it easy over there and far be it for you to pass judgement on any of them. As the daughter of a proud Marine I'd be happy to put my size 8 somewhere you won't like to save them the trouble but you're really not worth it. Ooh-rah devil dogs!

I don't think it will become just a photo op, mainly because I think it is two different balls. JT is invited to one in DC, I think Mila's was in North Carolina. I could be mistaken about the exact location, but it is not in DC. Also two different dates, if I remember correctly.

Why does the fact that she is a marine mean that if JT does accept, he is doing something for his country? Oh, he should give her his entire fortune because it celebrates the Marine Corp! Yeah right. Its just an opportunity for some military chick to get a celebrity date.

Everyone should be so lucky as to be invited to a Marine Corps Ball. Old military traditions, salute to the Corps, and a good party for all. Way to go Mila, now it's your turn Justin. Do it, you'll never forget it.

.....she needs to work on her "likability skills" a little more, because asking a guy to go out and then saying, "cry me a river" if you refuse, a breath later, is just lame...........no man would ask a woman out and insult her in the same sentence before a response could be given.

Both he and Kunis can show up and show that Hollywood still has some good people. They will know each other (which always helps) so it won't be completely awkward. Everyone will have some fun, leave with some great stories, and who knows...even make some friends. Besides, they can see how real people have a good time! (Not that Hollywood crap)

the problem is that they will be at two different balls. Marine bases all over the country have balls around November 10 of every year. Mila will be at Camp Lejune, NC, Justin, if he accepts will be in Washington, D C.
Argh...wasn't paying attention to that. Thanks for pointing it out. Hey, at least they can spread the good spirit around to different bases and still come out and compare stories as I am sure the media will be willing to compare and contrast.
