David Hasselhoff's unpopularity on "Dancing With the Stars" is a foregone conclusion, given that he was the first contestant voted off the show. But now, it's not just his dancing moves, but his behind-the-scenes behavior that is the topic of conversation.
"He was a mess, his people would call staffers 20 times a day, changing rehearsal times, canceling shoots and even suggesting things like camera angles and poses," according to a "DWTS" source who spoke to Us Weekly. "It’s like, we’ve done 11 seasons! We know what we’re doing!"
Hoff apparently wasn't a big fan of the quiet game, either. "He talks more than anyone I have ever met. And I have yet to have one conversation with him that makes sense," the source told the magazine.
Meanwhile, it was his dance partner, Kym Johnson, who bore the brunt of it all. "At first, Kym thought getting Hoff as a partner was quite a coup," said the source. "But then she quickly realized it was a mistake. She is so disappointed!"

When a new season of "Dancing With the Stars" begins, rumors of romance on the set usually aren't far behind.
When it comes to Bristol Palin though, don't believe any chatter of the sort. For starters, she's not looking for anything serious, telling In Touch Weekly she's "not looking for a father figure for Tripp right now."
And any talk that she and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino might have a budding romance? Not true. "Isn't he like, 30? We met for two seconds; I do not have a crush on him," Palin said of the "Jersey Shore" star.

Apparently "Dancing With the Stars" tried to friend Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg.
The producers of "Dancing With the Stars" are always looking for, well, stars of all stripes to fill its field each season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was among the pop culture luminaries approached by the show to put on his "Dancing" shoes. He declined. As did action superstar Sylvester Stallone, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the real Erin Brockovich and TV's Suzanne Somers, according to THR.
"We've approached a lot of people over the years," executive producer Conrad Green told THR. "People say no for a variety of reasons. Some people like the show but think they suck at dancing. It's a lot easier to say no than it is to say yes."
Actress Melanie Griffith, according to the story, has tried many times to get on the show, but to no avail.
And the early favorite to be the "difficult" contestant for season 11? Bristol Palin.
"Bristol was really annoyed by all the questions about whether her mom would be in the audience to support her," the source told The Hollywood Reporter. "She kept complaining about the amount of press she had to do. She is acting like this is all a big pain."
