Courteney Cox has 'no desire' to date right now

    Harper's Bazaar

The future of Courteney Cox and David Arquette's marriage is still uncertain, but there's one thing that Cox is crystal clear about: she's not ready to date.

"I have no desire right now," she told Harper's Bazaar. "I'm not saying never; it just seems weird. I don't even know how that would happen or how you meet people. I don't like to go out. I'm not great at small talk ... I don't like to go to parties."

Cox told the magazine that despite Arquette's recent troubles, she still has strong feelings for her husband of 11 years, and "doesn't know what the future holds, and I guess because I (still) have strong feelings for (David) ... I'm his biggest protector. I can't help it."

David Arquette 'OK' after head-on car crash

    Michael Buckner / Getty Images

Updated at 5 p.m. PT: David Arquette tweeted that he was "fine" after the accident. "Luckily, I have dragon's blood running through my veins. Haha  Thank you for all your concern," he wrote.

The actor also admitted he wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

Updated at 3:15 p.m. PT: Publicist Cindy Guagenti told The Associated Press that the actor is "OK" and is on his way to being treated.

Actor David Arquette was injured in a car accident on Friday afternoon, celebrity gossip site TMZ.com reports.

Photos on the website show Arquette lying on the ground, near his smashed silver Cadillac. (Click to see the images on TMZ.) A witness told the website that the actor was driving in West Hollywood when the accident happened. The car in front of the actor's came to a sudden stop, and Arquette swerved into oncoming traffic to avoid the car, but hit the one going in the opposite direction, the witness said.

The actor was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Conrad Murray's defense to claim Michael Jackson killed himself

Dr. Conrad Murray and his defense team are in court this week to face charges that Murray committed involuntary manslaughter. Sources say that the defense might suggest that Jackson committed suicide and administered his own last, fatal dose of propofol, a claim that has the family outraged. Tamron Hall and I discuss that, actor Pete Postlethwaite's passing and David Arquette's rehab in the Scoop on msnbc TV.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette looking at postnuptial agreement?

    Matt Sayles / AP file

Courteney Cox and David Arquette aren't divorcing yet, but they're spending a great deal of time discussing their financial future, according to In Touch Weekly.

Cox, being the main breadwinner in the family, is trying to get Arquette to sign a postnuptial agreement now that they've split, according to the magazine. (A postnuptial agreement can be used to protect income that might be generated during a separation, but before the divorce is settled.)

"Courteney is savvy about money and she's trying to protect her assets," a friend of the couple told In Touch.

Courteney Cox: 'I'm not getting divorced'

    Getty Images

Courteney Cox is breaking her silence, speaking out about the problems in her marriage to David Arquette.

"I don't know what will happen, but it's not like we're getting divorced," Cox said in an interview with TV Week, obtained by People magazine. "This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us."

Cox, who's been married to Arquette for 11 years, acknowledged the interviews Arquette has given to Howard Stern in the previous weeks.

Cox said, "[David] is a kook. It's not shocking and Howard Stern, he loves him and I'm a fan of Howard Stern ... David is an entertainer and I'm sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories."

David Arquette crying after sex, and more oversharing

    Getty Images

Finally, something to distract us from Charlie Sheen's allergic reactions: David Arquette's latest episode of oversharing on Howard Stern's radio show.

Arquette told Stern Wednesday that separating from Courteney Cox was difficult, and so was having sex with someone new. "After the first girl I slept with ... a few days later ... I was, like, crying. It was the end of all the intimacy I shared with my wife. It was like a new thing. It was like ... putting that away."

Arquette later admitted to Stern that he'd also bedded an Australian woman he met at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and that he would not date Jennifer Aniston. His overarching message though? He is still "f----- in love with my wife," he told Stern.

You can watch a portion of the interview below, or go to www.howard.tv to see the complete hour-long interview.

David Arquette apologizes for Howard Stern overshare

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, David Arquette apologized for his interview with Howard Stern, where he shared intimate details of his marriage to and separation from Courteney Cox.

In one tweet, Arquette said, "it's been a process of trial and error. I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I'm experiencing." In another, he said, "I shared too much ... it's alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled. Life is a process of spiritual evaluation."

Why did David Arquette discuss split with Howard Stern?

Courteney Cox and David Arquette are in the midst of a trial separation. Arquette wants to get back together with her, so he did the logical thing: overshare about the relationship with Howard Stern. There's more: Justin Bieber's memoir hit stands, and Michael J. Fox wasn't always supposed to star in "Back to the Future." Tamron Hall and I don't need roads in the afternoon Scoop on MSNBC TV.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette: Trial separation

    AP file

"Cougar Town" actress Courteney Cox and her husband of 11 years, David Arquette, have reportedly split. In Touch Weekly first broke the news, saying the two are "parting ways," and minutes later TMZ chimed in to say that the two had separated. TMZ claims that the two have been living separately for months, and they maintain a business relationship with one another.

Update: Cox and Arquette released a statement to Life & Style confirming a trial separation, calling it something "that dates back for some time." To read the complete statement, you can visit Life & Style.

In August, Cox gave an interview to In Style and spoke about her marriage, saying she and Arquette "have fun together and separately. We each have all the freedom in the world, which makes for a very comfortable relationship. It's easy for people to just coexist, especially when you have such different interests and work lives. You have to make an effort to stay connected, and that's something we work at."
