Scooplets: No one's invited to Ryan Reynolds' divorce

    Details

    • If you're waiting for details about Ryan Reynolds' and Scarlett Johansson's divorce, you might be waiting a long time. He told Details, "I’ll say this: the media was not invited to my marriage, and they’re definitely not invited into the divorce."

    • What did Oprah Winfrey do after the taping of her final show? She took some of her close friends to dinner at Spiaggia, one of Winfrey's favorite Chicago restaurants. The party of 18 included Gayle King, Stedman Graham and Maria Shriver.

    • After Beyonce taped the "American Idol" finale Wednesday night, she and husband Jay-Z headed to Soho House L.A., where they proceeded to take over a good two-thirds of the restaurant -- just for themselves (and their security team, which numbered about 10 people, according to a witness). Other diners were relegated to the bar so the couple could eat in privacy.

Man fakes robbery in attempt to score Oprah tickets

    Chicago Police Dept.

Hundreds of thousands hoped to score one of the 13,000 tickets to Oprah Winfrey's final shows, but only one man (as far as we know) staged a robbery in an attempt to be part of the "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular" on Tuesday.

Chicago Police say Robert Spearing of Ontario, Canada, spun a tale to police claiming he was robbed of his show tickets and had the scrapes to prove it. NBC News reports that officers say Spearing "allegedly scraped his hands on the sidewalk and used a rock to make a small cut on his forehead," and told police he was beaten and robbed, then later admitted it was a hoax.

Apparently, his wife really wanted tickets, and he told police he didn't want her mad at him, and believed he could buy tickets at the United Center, where the shows were being taped. The tickets, in fact, were given away via a lottery. Harpo Productions, Winfrey's production company, received more than 154,000 requests for seats to Tuesday's taping.

Spearing was charged with felony disorderly conduct.

Will Maria Shriver talk to Oprah?

HollywoodLife.com's Bonnie Fuller and psychiatrist Gail Saltz weigh on how the Schwarzenegger-Shriver family will weather the pain of infidelity and betrayal.

In the wake of Maria Shriver's split from Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the more recent news that he fathered a child out of wedlock, television networks are clamoring to get an interview with Shriver. According to TMZ, Shriver might be talking to Oprah Winfrey, as a guest on her final show.

Today in Chicago, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is taping its next-to-last episodes, which will air May 23 and 24. The final show will air May 25.

The show is not commenting on final guests, but Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are rumored to be among them.

Update: Shriver has made her first public statement about the news regarding her estranged husband, telling People, "This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

Urban thought rehab would 'tear apart' marriage to Kidman

    Mark Humphrey / AP

Keith Urban was only married to Nicole Kidman for four months when he checked into rehab in October 2006 for drug and alcohol addiction.

"[I thought] 'Surely, let's give it a few years so we've got some solidity, because this kind of thing could tear us apart," Urban told Oprah Winfrey on her show Monday. "This could just destroy us."

Urban, who was hooked on cocaine and other substances, revealed that it was Kidman and some close friends who staged the intervention. The 2006 trip to rehab was his third in eight years. "I had to make a decision which road I was going to take, once and for all. I'd been at that crossroads before and always taken the wrong road," he said.

Urban and Kidman have a daughter, Sunday Rose, and they live in Nashville, Tenn. Of living outside the Hollywood bubble, Kidman told Winfrey, "Some people like the much higher sort of more glamorous lifestyle. For us, we just prefer a much quieter, private [life]."

Michael Jackson was 'addicted' to surgery, mom says

    Getty Images file

On Monday's "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Michael Jackson's mother Katherine opens up for the very first time since her son's June 2009 death. Among the topics covered during the show was Michael's addiction to plastic surgery.

Katherine told Oprah that when Michael was an adolescent, he thought he was ugly, and "one day made up his mind to get his nose done." He had so many procedures his nose got smaller each time, to the point that his nose looked "like a toothpick," the late pop star's mother said. She even asked Michael's surgeon, if asked to operate again, to pretend that he'd done the procedure.

Katherine also tells Oprah that she spoke to her son about his addiction to drugs. "I spoke to him about them once, when I had heard it, and he denied it. I was telling him I didn't want to hear one day that he had overdosed, because it would break my heart," Katherine said.

In other Jackson news, the first single from Michael's new album was released on his website. "Breaking News" is a "never heard before song by Michael," which was recorded in 2007 in New Jersey and recently finished, according to the site.
